Smurfit Westrock Galway

As part of the global Smurfit Westrock network, Smurfit Westrock Galway can draw on alternative manufacturing sites and approved material sources to maintain supply continuity. This enables us to deliver consistent quality and reliable service, even in the event of local production or material supply challenges.

Smurfit Westrock Galway acts as a one-stop packaging provider and can source products and materials that are not manufactured directly on-site. Through the wider Smurfit Westrock network and approved suppliers, the site can provide additional packaging components such as solid board, protective packaging materials, specialist corrugated products, thermal packaging solutions, and other traded goods required by customers.

SW Galway employs a circular business model throughout daily business practice to ensure effective sustainability measures. This is achieved through:

• Use of recyclable corrugated and paper-based packaging.
• Responsible sourcing through FSC certification.
• Waste segregation and recycling programmes.
• Designing packaging to minimise material usage while maintaining performance.

Smurfit Westrock Galway uses a wide array of internal Smurfit Westrock tools guaranteeing product that meets packaging strength requirements, while also optimising board and paper grades to suit you specific packaging requirements.
