Recyclable corrugated boxes for shipping car mats

Foxcol, a leading Colombian ecommerce company in automotive products, sought sustainable packaging for their car mats that would protect their product while enhancing their brand identity. Having previously been packaged in single use plastic, they aimed to replace it with a durable, eco-friendly, and visually appealing recyclable corrugated cardboard solution.

Foxcol produces mats for vehicles of all sizes, so the new corrugated packaging needed to adapt seamlessly to the product's shape. Our design team experimented with various box designs to find a single solution to accommodate all product dimensions. Additionally, branded visuals were incorporated and tested to elevate the unboxing experience and strengthening brand association.

The final box was a durable packaging solution which gave Foxcol optimum protection for their car mats whilst also accommodating their wide variety of product dimensions. The box was custom printed with lifelike visuals on the front and back, highlighting the product and the brand. Additionally, to align with Foxcol’s deep commitment to sustainability, the box is recyclable and projected to reduce 10 tons of CO₂ per year in comparison to their original single-use plastic packaging solution.
