Henkel Latin America recently held the first regional edition of its Supplier Week in Mexico City, where Smurfit Westrock was recognized as a strategic partner for its commitment to proactive innovation, sustainability, and excellence in service and operational efficiency.
Supplier Week is an annual gathering that brings together a significant number of Henkel’s most valued suppliers. During the event, the company, a leader in home, industrial, and personal care solutions, aims to strengthen partnerships and share best practices that contribute to Henkel’s business and sustainability goals. Smurfit Westrock had the honor of being the only corrugated packaging provider to receive this distinction, nominated directly by Henkel, highlighting the tangible impact of its collaborative model.
The recognition was based on criteria such as shared innovation, operational commitment, applied sustainability and responsiveness. This milestone positions Smurfit Westrock as a strategic partner in Henkel’s supply chain across key markets such as Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.
