Catcher Board MB12 absorbs mineral oils that exist within the packaging and those that migrate from the outside environment. It uses absorption, a technique to trap mineral oils, to preserve food quality over time and to protect aromatics and taste - even if the packaging is folded or scratched. 

MB12 was analyzed by independent scientists at the University of Dresden for one year. It outperformed the six other available solutions that were tested. The university’s study found that MB12 was “…the only sample, which showed excellent barrier characteristics…”. 

Moreover, Eurofins, one of the world leaders in food product testing and an approved laboratory for food safety, tested MB12 to understand how effectively it protects food from mineral oils. They certified that no mineral oils were able to pass into the food. 

Typical applications include packaging for fatty, moist, and dry foods, frozen items, pastries with regular fat content and fast food.
