Supporting Martin House Children's Hospice
Martin House is a children’s hospice near Leeds, providing vital care and support to children with life limiting illnesses and their families. For over 40 years, colleagues at Smurfit Westrock have proudly supported Martin House through ongoing fundraising efforts, reflecting a long standing commitment to the local community.
The Smurfit Westrock Foundation donated €150,000 to Martin House, helping fund the construction of a new medical gases building. This investment enables children to access vital oxygen more easily and comfortably as part of their care.
Watch the video below hear from Lindsey Rawlings, Plant Manager at Smurfit Westrock in Leeds, as she shares how we supported Martin House Hospice—alongside powerful stories from the families who rely on this incredible service.

Support continues today, with teams at Smurfit Westrock Wetherby and Smurfit Westrock Leeds still actively raising funds to help Martin House continue its vital work for children and their families.
The Smurfit Westrock Foundation is committed to supporting projects that positively impact the lives of people in need within the communities where Smurfit Westrock operates. We will do this by financially supporting sustainable projects locally that have a positive impact through health and nutrition, education, basic care and reducing inequalities that exist.
