FALELOKIKOKI, a leading Polish distributor of professional cosmetics and hairdressing accessories, offers products that vary widely in shape, weight, and size—making safe shipment a persistent challenge. The company’s previous approach, bulk packaging with assorted fillers, failed to provide consistent protection. As a result, some orders were arriving damaged.

The Approach

The Smurfit Westrock team developed and implemented a single-piece corrugated insert that divides the package interior into multiple sections. This system keeps products secure and organized regardless of their dimensions. Designed as a universal solution for the company’s e-commerce operations, the insert adapts seamlessly to its wide range of products.

The Result

The new insert dramatically improved delivery quality, reducing transport-related damage and related complaints by 75 percent. Customer feedback on deliveries became noticeably more positive, boosting the company’s image. The packaging process grew 50 percent faster and more efficient, and the elimination of adhesive tape, foil, and plastic fillers further lowered the company’s carbon footprint. Together, these changes delivered substantial cost savings by reducing the need for additional packaging materials.
