Sustainable display design brings L’Oréal Colorsonic launch to life
L’Oréal set out to change the way consumers experience at-home hair color. With the launch of Colorsonic — a breakthrough device designed to bring precision and convenience to DIY hair coloring — the beauty leader needed an in-store display that was as innovative and sustainable as the product itself.

The Challenge

L’Oréal, a leader in beauty innovation, revolutionized at-home hair coloring with Colorsonic, a breakthrough application system that redefined convenience and precision. To complement this pivotal product launch and exclusive promotion at a large national retailer, L’Oréal required a display as innovative as the product itself — bold, functional, recyclable and durable enough for yearlong placement. The display needed to be designed, manufactured and delivered fully pre-packed, while also aligning with L’Oréal’s sustainability and inclusive sourcing commitments.

The Approach

We partnered with L’Oréal and the retailer to engineer a custom, paper-based display that met every requirement. As a streamlined single-vendor solution, we managed engineering, printing, manufacturing, assembly and fulfillment, providing a full turnkey solution. This comprehensive approach ensured alignment with L’Oréal’s sustainability and inclusive sourcing commitments. Our facilities in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Martinsville, Virginia, directly supported L’Oréal’s Inclusive Sourcing Program, empowering individuals in economically distressed communities.

The Result

The partnership delivered a viable and recyclable display that supported L’Oréal’s creative vision while meeting sustainability goals. The turnkey solution was executed on time and within budget for more than 1,000 stores, driving strong sell-through rates and motivating L’Oréal to explore additional placement opportunities.
